What is Pellaq? We are asked sometimes to define "Pellaq" as a covering material. Pellaq is a lacquered paper based material made for book covering and packaging. It is resilient and attractive. In order to give the material body when binding books covered with it we need to add a stiffener to the book. Therefore a Pellaq-bound book is less flexible than a leatherbound book.

Are your leatherbound books soft? All of our leatherbound books are flexible and depending on the skin used to cover the book the cover will vary in softness. Lamb and goatskin bound books are generally softer than calfskin bound books. Books bound with a croc or lizard-grained skin are generally calfskin.

Which diary format is better for me? We have two diary formats, The Belgravia and The Organiseher. We generally suggest that if you are heavier on appointments in your day, the Organiseher with its tabular format works better, but if you like to have a ruled notes page in your week to view lists then The Belgravia may be the one.

Does The Organiseher come in the small size? We do not offer The Organiseher in the small size because the format becomes too squashed with no room to write clearly.

Which size do I have now? On the flyleaf of all of our diaries there is a description of both size and format which you are using. For example, The Small Belgravia Diary or The Mid size Organiseher.

What about the date ranges of the diaries? The Belgravia Diaries run for a conventional January to January twelve month period. The Organiseher runs from September for 16 months. If you are a busy parent or need to have a diary of longer duration then start The Organiseher in September and use it for 12 months, using the last four months as a forward planning tool. Or use it from January to January and disregard those first few months, it is just a few extra pages.
